E-cigs May Reduce Smoking— According to A Study, E-cig Use Might Upturn Quit Attempts

The results pointed out that when smokers were at free will to use e-cigarettes without any confining rules, their uptake increased and most participants even went ahead to buy their own. The implication here is that e-cigs may have presented smokers a seemly alternative to combustible cigs.

Participants who used e-cigs smoked less often and were more prone to quitting as compared to the ones in the control group.

People smoking e-cigarettes throughout the study consumed approximately 37% fewer cigarettes which is a clear sign they are a useful tool in helping addicts quit and a product worth shifting to. And because smoking is the number one cause of cancer, who wouldn’t advocate for control measures?
